Virginia Nash, Strategic Communications Manager, was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated from Lipscomb University with an undergraduate degree in Law, Justice, and Society and a graduate degree in Leadership and Public Policy. Before coming to Calvert Street, Virginia spent years working at the Tennessee Organization of School Superintendents (TOSS), where she wrote, lobbied, and advocated for public school policies and school superintendents in the Tennessee Legislature. Virginia’s other previous roles include working for Nashville Mayor Megan Barry, helping to create local sustainability policy and spending time at a law firm researching education laws and assisting on cases. While not at work, Virginia loves to travel, participate in adult league sports, and is a self-proclaimed American history nerd.
