We are currently seeking to add a Digital Advocacy Coordinator to our growing team of doers. This role will be central to Calvert Street Group’s continued growth and success.
As a Digital Advocacy Coordinator at Calvert Street Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' campaigns by utilizing cutting-edge digital advocacy strategies. Your primary responsibilities will involve setting up and managing advocacy platforms, executing effective email marketing campaigns, and crafting compelling messaging. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating detailed metric reports that showcase the impact of your digital efforts, which will be presented to both the campaign team and our valued clients. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, an excellent collaborator, possess strong copywriting skills, and demonstrate a willingness to adapt and learn in the fast-paced world of political advocacy.
Location: Calvert Street’s Nashville HQ
Primary Responsibilities
Set up and manage digital advocacy platforms, including online petition tools and advocacy websites.
Monitor and optimize advocacy platform performance to ensure maximum engagement and reach.
Implement A/B testing strategies to optimize user experience and conversion rates.
Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns to mobilize supporters and donors.
Create persuasive and personalized email content that resonates with diverse audiences.
Manage email lists and segmentation for more effective targeting.
Track and analyze digital advocacy metrics, such as website traffic, email open rates, and click-through rates.
Compile and interpret data to create comprehensive reports highlighting the success of digital advocacy efforts.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve campaign performance.
Collaborate closely with the campaign team to align digital advocacy strategies with overall campaign objectives.
Coordinate with creatives, campaigners, and other team members to ensure cohesive messaging across various platforms.
Craft compelling and persuasive copy for advocacy platforms, emails, social media posts, and other digital assets.
Ensure messaging aligns with campaign goals, resonates with target audiences, and adheres to the client's brand voice.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, political science, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Proven experience in setting up and managing digital advocacy platforms and campaigns.
Proficiency in email marketing tools and platforms.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide insights.
Excellent copywriting and messaging skills, with an ability to adapt to different tones and styles.
A self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with political campaigns and advocacy efforts is a plus.
Willingness to stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and tools.
