Calvert Street hired Sam Taylor, New Hampshire-based field director and political assistant, as the newest field director in an influx of campaign team hires to be based at the company’s downtown Nashville office.
In 2016 alone, Taylor worked on two campaigns in New Hampshire (Governor O’Malley for President; Van Ostern for New Hampshire). In these positions he worked as both a field organizer and political assistant. Previously, he worked for the Ohio Democratic Party as a field organizer and was a technical writer for M Powered Strategies in Washington, DC. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a B.A. in political science and public health, Taylor brings a wealth of field knowledge to the team.
“Sam has shown that he is a great worker in and out of the field,” said Darden Copeland, managing director, Calvert Street Group. “His resume speaks volumes and his knowledge of what it takes to win a campaign is crucial for the success of our clients. We are thrilled to have him on our side.”
