Calvert Street COO Finalist for Nashville Emerging Leader Award

NASHVILLE, Tenn.  (June 13, 2017) — Calvert Street Group is proud to announce that the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, Krystina Lenz, has been named a finalist today for The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and YP Nashville’s Nashville Emerging Leader Award. Krystina was chosen as one of five finalists in the Public Relations, Advertising, and Marketing category.

The NELAs program is designed to recognize Middle Tennessee’s young professionals (YP) under the age of 40 for significant accomplishments in their chosen field as well as their commitment and contribution to the community.

The annual NELAs recognize five finalists in 14 industry classifications: Architecture, Engineering and Construction; Arts, Entertainment and Music Business; Business Services; Community Service and Nonprofit; Education; Financial Services; Government and Public Affairs; Hospitality and Tourism; Human Resources; Legal Services; Medical and Health Care Services; Public Relations, Advertising and Marketing; Real Estate Services; and Technology.

A committee made up of a diverse group of community leaders and experts within each industry selected these finalists based on their answers to essay questions, level of professional achievement, demonstrated leadership and community impact.

“There is no one more deserving of this award than Krystina,” says Calvert Street Managing Director, Darden Copeland. “She has been with this company almost since its infancy and we would not be where we are today without her. I am constantly amazed at her ability to balance her career, motherhood, and volunteer activities, all while making it look easy.”

A reception for the NELAs finalists will be held Thursday, June 29 at The Cordelle in Nashville; the 11th annual NELAs ceremony will be held Thursday, Aug. 3 at Lipscomb University. The awards ceremony will be followed by an after-party at Richland Country Club. The awards are presented by Lipscomb University College of Business.
