Digital Organizer will set strategy; draft and execute digital campaign plans; and manage the online to offline and offline to online deliverables. Digital Organizer may have multiple projects across multiple practice areas and geographic locations.
Support Campaign Manager in analyzing the political and digital landscape
Devise digital organizing strategy for executing the campaign plan
Help to design and execute paid digital outreach programs
Design project websites, direct mail, online advertisements, and collateral
Create graphics and craft content for social media
Build and manage online coalitions utilizing social media platforms to support client objectives
Attend project meetings, meet deadlines, and draft reports.
2 or more year(s) of digital communications experience
Relevant field, grassroots or organizing experience a plus
Intermediate experience in HTML, CSS, and content management systems such as WordPress and Nationbuilder
Experience creating graphics and original content for social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
Advanced experience in Facebook campaigns, including content creation, a/b testing, and audience segmentation– with examples to share if requested
Experience managing multichannel digital campaigns a familiarity with Google Adwords, Twitter Analytics, and Google Webmaster Tools
Proven track record of building online-to-offline pipelines
Intermediate experience in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
Bachelor’s degree – or higher – with a strong academic resume and GPA
Strong communication, critical thinking, research and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented and a strong work ethic
